Full Title: David Loggan, Winchester College from Oxonia Illustrata, engraving (Oxford, 1675)

This bird’s-eye view shows Winchester College as Thomas Browne knew it. It was made just over 50 years after he left the school. In the lower right are the medieval stables, where Treasury is now located. As a Scholar Browne studied and slept in Chamber Court, in front of the chapel. Scholars still live there to this day.
