Full title: Hugh Robinson, I Preces. II Grammaticalia quaedam. III Rhetorica brevis. (Oxford, 1616)

Hugh Robinson (c. 1584–1655) was headmaster of Winchester when Browne was a pupil. His textbook would have been used by Browne and so provides an insight into his education. The book is divided into three parts: on prayer, grammar, and rhetoric. The latter urged its readers to distinguish between seemingly similar words.
