The right man for the job

As a presidential hopeful in 1960, Democrat John F. Kennedy seemed to have it all: youth, vigour, sex appeal, plus a beautiful wife in Jackie, and a young family too. This campaign button utilises Kennedy’s image and good looks to suggest that he is the best candidate to lead America into a bright and hopeful new decade – of scientific advancement, technical achievements, and even space exploration.
