Congratulations are in order for Professor Christine Gerrard of the Faculty of English, who has just been awarded a Humanities Teaching Award for her new lecture course entitled ‘Democratising the Classics: popular literature, consumer taste, and material objects in the eighteenth century’. A UEP Faculty Fellowship at the Ashmolean Museum allowed her to work with objects from the University’s collections, which were then digitised (in 2D and 3D) and uploaded with help from the Cabinet team.
