Digitising objects

Objects to be added to a digital archive can either be photographed or scanned. The images are then uploaded to the online archive together with related information or stories.

It is useful to have more than one image of each object and to capture specific details as well as the overall object. For example photographing the front and back of a medal and also the text imprinted on the rim of it.
