Description: In January 1536, the Münster Anabaptist Leaders John of Leiden, Bernhard Knipperdolling and Bernhard Krechting were tortured and executed in the Münster marketplace. Their bodies were exhibited in cages, which hung from the steeple of St. Lambert's Church.
