Male reproductive system

Image 1: Bodleian MS Ashmole 399, fol. 24v (England, late 13th century)
Image 2: Wellcome MS 49, fol. 37v (Germany, c. 1420)

While the schematic penis image of the later manuscript, Wellcome MS 49, is stuffed into the corner of a folio with multiple other anatomical diagrams, the penis of Ashmole 399 has an entire page to itself. Unlike the Wellcome penis, it does not include any text. This is strange as its partner image, the uterus diagram of Ashmole 399 (see 'related sources'), is heavily annotated.
