Izal Toilet Tissue (3D)

The first women arriving in the College were horrified to find that only hard Izal toilet paper was available. All other domestic hardships were tolerable but this was too much.

The Dean quickly agreed to urgent requests to replace this with soft toilet paper but the Domestic Bursar was much more reluctant (partly due to the 10 year supply of Izal she appeared to be stock piling in the College). The women’s toilets were, however, quickly kitted out with soft toilet paper, provoking calls from the men that they wanted similar equal treatment.

The toilet paper saga went on for a few years until all toilets finally enjoyed the benefits of soft paper!
